The words of France's Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna regarding Paris's willingness to strengthen military support for Kyiv would astonish the first President of the Fifth Republic, General Charles de Gaulle. This was stated by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry. She expressed her opinion on Telegram.

According to Zakharova, de Gaulle would 'turn in his grave' due to the statements from France's foreign minister, as his country is allegedly supporting Nazis.

It is worth noting that earlier, Catherine Colonna had said in an interview with RFI radio that France's support for Ukraine would continue and even intensify. Specifically, the politician mentioned that preparations are underway for new batches of military assistance.
