Azerbaijan Recently Closes Valve on Armenia-Artsakh Gas Pipeline
«AzerbaijanGas» reports that Azerbaijani authorities have once again obstructed gas deliveries from Armenia to Artsakh. They strongly urge to adhere to safety protocols.
The Information Headquarters of Artsakh has also reported: "Dear citizens, the gas pressure level in the only gas pipeline from Armenia to Artsakh has begun to drop, indicating that the Azerbaijani side has closed the valve on the pipeline. In the coming hours, based on the level of gas pressure, it will be clarified whether this latest disconnection is total or partial."
Due to the changes in the situation, «AzerbaijanGas» is supplying the gas accumulated in the pipeline solely to gas stations, halting restoration efforts for other subscribers. Nevertheless, all subscribers are urged to maintain vigilance and follow gas usage safety rules, as a certain volume of gas has already been directed to a section of the internal network.
Further updates will be provided in a separate announcement. It is worth noting that gas deliveries, which had been completely halted since March 21, were restored on July 8, and during the 210 days of the blockade of Artsakh, gas supplies have been disrupted by Azerbaijan for a total of 143 days.
