Ukraine States How It Will Use Cluster Munitions

Ukraine will not use cluster munitions to attack Russian cities and villages. The Ukrainian Armed Forces will deploy them solely for the de-occupation of Ukrainian territories. This was stated by Ukraine's Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov.

He discussed the five principles for the use of cluster munitions received from the United States, which Ukraine is committed to following in the liberation of occupied territories.

“We have five main principles regarding cluster munitions that we will adhere to and have clearly communicated to all our partners, including the United States. This ammunition will not be used on land officially recognized by Russia,” Reznikov emphasized.
