Peskov on Vladimir Putin-Rejep Tayyip Erdoğan Meeting
The press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, does not rule out that a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Rejep Tayyip Erdoğan may take place in the near future, but he does not specify when that could happen.
Regarding the future meeting between Putin and Erdoğan, Peskov stated, “We do not exclude that it may take place in the near future.” He indicated that Putin and Erdoğan have quite frequent communications.
Recall that yesterday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Istanbul, with the main topic for the two leaders being the Russia-Ukraine war.
