A Huge Tree Toppled in Yerevan, Blocking the Road

Today, on July 8, an extraordinary incident occurred in Yerevan. At around 20:30, a huge tree was uprooted and fell onto a metal fence near the Lovers' Park on Demirchyan Street.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, preliminary reports indicate that, fortunately, there are no casualties.

Police officers from the Patrol Service of the Yerevan City Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrived promptly, led by Deputy Commander David Nikoghosyan of the 2nd Battalion's 3rd Platoon.

The area has been cordoned off by patrol officers Aren Ghahramanyan and Gevorg Hovhannisyan.
