Ozon Launches Sales for Residents of Armenia

The Russian online retailer Ozon has announced the start of sales for residents of Armenia, providing access to nearly the entire range of the Russian market, according to INTERFAX.

"Residents of Armenia can now purchase goods from Russia through Ozon. They have access to nearly the entire Russian product range, with over 196 million items in more than 20 categories, ranging from books and clothing to food products and health items," the online trade platform stated in its announcement.

Delivery times are expected to average seven days and will be available through Omni Logistics. Earlier, Ozon had announced plans to enter the Armenian market in the autumn of 2023.

"In the future, Ozon plans to develop its logistics infrastructure in Armenia, including its own delivery service and a network of order acceptance and distribution points," the statement read.

Armenia is the fourth CIS country where Ozon has operated since 2021. The platform is already present in the markets of Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.
