Two Drones Shot Down in New Moscow, Another in Kaluga Region
Two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were shot down near the village of Valuyevo in New Moscow, with no casualties or damage reported. Another drone was downed in the Kaluga region.
According to preliminary data, three drones headed towards Moscow at different times. Two of them were suppressed in New Moscow through electronic warfare, while one was addressed in the Kaluga region, as reported by TASS, citing emergency services.
These were aircraft-type drones, and there are no reports of casualties.
The 112 Telegram channel initially reported that residents of New Moscow were mass reporting explosions. Eyewitnesses told Mash that explosions were heard near the village of Valuyevo. According to the Telegram channel, about five minutes passed between the explosions.
SHOT reports that no visual damage has been detected at the drone crash site.
Later, the Baza Telegram channel indicated that aircraft from Vnukovo were redirected to other airports. The Vnukovo website states that flights from Sharm El Sheikh, Dubai, and Surgut are now heading to Domodedovo; flights to Makhachkala, Chelyabinsk, and Novosibirsk are directed to Sheremetyevo.
