Beauty Salons Banned in Afghanistan

The Afghan authorities have banned the operation of beauty salons in Kabul and other provinces.

According to an official statement, "Beauty salons for women in Kabul city and the provinces are prohibited from operating for a certain period, and the issued licenses and contracts are invalid."

It is also noted that women in Afghanistan are banned from visiting gyms, parks, and swimming pools.
