VIDEO: Resident of Armavir Organized Fireworks in Yerevan City Center at Midnight; He Has Been Arrested

On the night of July 2, at 1:38 AM, a report was received at the police operational management center indicating that fireworks had been set off at the intersection of Saryan and Pushkin streets for the second time. The sounds triggered car security alarms as well.

Simultaneously, the Central Police Department also began receiving calls regarding the same fireworks display. One caller even mentioned that children had jumped up in fear due to the loud noises.

The officers from the Central Department took appropriate measures. Community police managed to identify that the outrageous fireworks had been organized by a 22-year-old resident of Khanchyan Street in Armavir City. According to him, he was celebrating his friend's birthday in this manner.

The young resident of Armavir, inadvertently causing a disturbance in the nighttime capital, was found and arrested. An administrative report was filed, which we hope will also have an educational significance—not just for him.
