French protesters have set fire to a library in Marseille, according to local media reports.
The protests, which began after the killing of a 17-year-old teenager, have escalated into looting and riots across the country. Vehicles and buildings are being torched in cities, and luxury stores are being robbed.
It is known that protesters have burned one of the largest libraries in Marseille, along with several municipal buildings.
To note, during the sixth night of unrest in France, 78 individuals have been arrested. French media report clashes between protesters and police in Lyon, where rioters threw stones at law enforcement officials. Police have responded with tear gas.
