Disney Ignores American Armenian Advocacy Committee's Call and Announces Atatürk Series
Disney Plus, the film production and streaming platform, released a new trailer on Twitter yesterday, July 2, announcing the launch of the series "Atatürk." It is noteworthy that the American Armenian Advocacy Committee called for the cancellation of the series' production on June 29.
In the committee's statement, it was mentioned, "The call to Disney Plus to cancel series that glorify the Turkish dictator and orchestrator of genocide Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who has the blood of millions of Greeks, Armenians, Assyrians, Chaldeans, Syrians, Arameans, Maronites, and other Christian martyrs on his hands."
