Car Accident on Masis-Marmarashen Road: One Fatality and Injuries

On July 3, at 00:24, the crisis management center of the Ararat regional rescue service received information about a traffic accident near the bridge in the village of Marmarashen, which resulted in injuries, as reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

A combat crew from the regional rescue service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that vehicles identified as 'Opel' (driver: S.G., born in 1997) and 'Ford' (driver: G.T.) had collided on the Masis-Marmarashen road. The passenger of the 'Opel,' A.G. (born in 2019), died as a result of the accident.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the driver of the 'Opel' along with passengers L.G. (born in 2004) and H.G. (born in 1970) were transported to the Masis Medical Center, where the driver received appropriate medical assistance, while the passengers were transferred to Erebuni Medical Center.

The rescuers removed the body of A.G. from the vehicle and brought it to the ambulance. They also disconnected the power supply of the vehicles and closed the gas cylinder valves.
