Gas Explosion in One of the Houses in Silikian Neighborhood: Gas Leak Reported

Today, July 2, an emergency incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 15:40, the 9-11 Crisis Management National Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia received a report from the operational management center of the Police that there had been an explosion in a gas pipe in one of the houses on 3rd Street in the Silikian neighborhood, without any signs of fire, but with a gas leak present.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, a fire and rescue team from the 7th Fire and Rescue Squad promptly arrived at the scene.

Representatives from “Gazprom Armenia” and “Transgaz” companies also arrived quickly.
