Lukashenko on Stationing Nuclear Weapons in Belarus
The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, has stated that Belarus will never have to use nuclear weapons, but they should be present in the country. This information was reported by БЕЛТА.
“Once I told you at a major forum, if you don’t know what to do in a given situation, and your enemies are screaming, do the opposite: If they are shouting that nuclear weapons are bad, then do the opposite,” Lukashenko said.
It is noteworthy that Russian President Vladimir Putin had previously announced that Russia plans to deploy tactical nuclear weapons on Belarusian territory.
