VIDEO: How Security Forces Prepare to Neutralize Man Who Opened Fire at Chisinau Airport

A video has emerged online showing what appears to be Moldovan special forces preparing to neutralize a gunman at Chisinau Airport.

As previously reported, Chisinau Airport has resumed regular flights after a shooting incident that resulted in two fatalities and one injury. Arriving passengers are accompanied by official delegations.

Sputnik Moldova, citing Flightradar, notes that the first flight from the airport departed for Warsaw at 20:23 local time (coinciding with Moscow time).

During the shooting, a border guard and an airport security worker were killed, and one passenger was wounded. Following the gunfire, a criminal case was initiated under terrorism charges.

The Moldovan Prosecutor General reported that the shooter, a citizen of Tajikistan who was denied entry into Moldova, has been hospitalized in serious condition and faces a life sentence.
