Young Man Reports Injury from Falling off Horse
A 25-year-old villager who sustained a bodily injury has had the assailant arrested. This was reported by the Police of Armenia.
On June 28, at 09:55 AM, the Artashat division of the police received a report from the hospital that a 25-year-old man was admitted with a diagnosis of "penetrating wound of the anterior abdominal wall."
According to the police report, he claimed that the injury was caused by falling off a horse in the fields of Shahumyan village.
Through operational-investigative measures, the criminal investigators of the Artashat department identified that around 3:30 AM on June 24, during a quarrel in Shahumyan village, a 37-year-old fellow villager had struck the 25-year-old with a cutting and stabbing object. On June 28, he was arrested and presented to the regional investigative department.
