Fire at New York's Tiffany Flagship Store; Injuries Reported

A fire broke out at the flagship store of Tiffany in New York, as reported by РИА Новости.

"The cause of the fire was an explosion of a transformer, with no signs of arson. Two people sustained minor injuries, and approximately 100 were evacuated," the statement said.

Tiffany & Co. is an American luxury jewelry and specialty design house headquartered in Manhattan. Founded in 1837 by jeweler Charles Lewis Tiffany, it gained fame in the early 20th century under the artistic direction of his son, Louis Comfort Tiffany. In 2018, Tiffany's net sales totaled $4.44 billion.
