The Situation Along The Contact Line Is Relatively Stable: Artsakh Ministry of Defense

Armenian positions came under fire from Azerbaijani forces, resulting in casualties on the Armenian side. This information was reported by the Artsakh Ministry of Defense.

“On June 28, starting at 01:30, units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces opened fire using artillery on the Armenian positions in Martuni and Martakert, also employing UAVs. The Armenian side reports 4 casualties,” the statement said.

“As of 07:00, the situation along the contact line is relatively stable,” the Army reported later.

Additionally, the Artsakh Ministry of Defense had previously stated that on June 27, around 19:40, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces violated the ceasefire towards the Martakert region, also using mortars. It was later revealed that Azerbaijan continued to violate the ceasefire in the Martakert region, firing 2 shells from a 60 mm mortar towards the Kichan community around 21:00 and one shell towards Jankatagh at approximately 21:30.
