Azerbaijani Forces Open Fire on Citizens Working in Fields in Martuni, Artsakh Police Report
Azerbaijani forces have opened fire on citizens working in fields in the Martuni region. This information has been reported by the Artsakh Ministry of Internal Affairs.
On June 28, around 12:00 PM, Vahe Arstamyan (born in 1987), a resident of Chartar, was harvesting grain with a combine harvester in the area known as '64 Hectares' within the administrative territory of Martuni city when he was targeted by gunfire from adjacent Azerbaijani military positions.
On the same day, around 12:00 PM, Bakshi Ghahramanyan (born in 1961), a resident of Gishi village, was conducting agricultural work with a Belarus-80 tractor in the area known as 'Ghurusu' in the administrative territory of Chartar, when he also came under fire from Azerbaijani servicemen. The latter opened sporadic gunfire on him from their combat positions.
Agricultural activities have been suspended. The incident has been reported to the Russian peacekeeping forces.
