Video: Vigen Nazaryan Advances to Finals

In the Greco-Roman wrestling European Youth Championships taking place in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, Armenian representative Vigen Nazaryan has advanced to the finals in the 87 kg weight category.

Previously, Yuri Hovhayan also made it to the finals in the 63 kg weight class, achieving an impressive victory by 12:1 against his Turkish opponent in the semifinals.

In the quarterfinals, Yuri secured a hard-fought win against his Azerbaijani rival.

In the 55 kg weight category, Homerous Arakelyan lost in the semifinals and will compete for the bronze medal on July 27.

The team is coached by Moses Karapetyan, Armen Arakelyan, Tigran Sahakyan, and Zhora Vardanyan.
