VIDEO: Yuriykh Hoveyan Becomes European Champion, Vigen Nazaryan Takes Silver at Youth European Championships

At the European Youth Championships in Greco-Roman wrestling held in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, Armenia's Yuriykh Hoveyan claimed the gold medal with a determined victory. In the final of the 63 kg weight category, Hoveyan faced Moldova's Vitaliy Yeryomenko and won by a tiebreaker, securing a final score of 5:5.

Meanwhile, youth world champion Vigen Nazaryan brought home a silver medal from the European Youth Championships. In the final of the 87 kg weight category, the Armenian wrestler lost in a closely contested match with a score of 4:5 against Georgia's Achiko Boklvadze.

Additionally, Homerus Arakelyan from the Armenian team won a bronze medal after defeating a Turkish opponent in the bronze medal match.
