Video: Sandstorm Hits Iran's Sistan and Baluchestan Province; Several Hospitalized
A sandstorm has been reported in Iran's Sistan and Baluchestan province, according to local media.
According to some reports, 330 people sought treatment at medical centers, with 57 of them hospitalized.
The head of the Sistan and Baluchestan meteorological department stated that on Sunday, the Zaboli region of the province experienced winds reaching speeds of up to 97 km/h, which reduced horizontal visibility at the local airport to just 350 meters due to the resulting dust.
It has been noted that the intensity of the storm will only decrease on Tuesday, while conditions for channel flooding and seasonal river overflow will develop in the southern regions and central highland areas of the province. An orange warning level will be issued.
