Japanese Prime Minister Comments on the Attempted Rebellion in Russia

Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida has stated to reporters in Tokyo that he hopes to develop an approach in collaboration with the G7 countries regarding the situation in Russia. This information has been reported by the TASS agency.

“I intend to develop an approach regarding the further situation in close cooperation with the G7,” said the head of the Japanese government when asked by a reporter to comment on the attempted rebellion by the private military company Wagner.

It is worth recalling that on the evening of June 23, the founder of the Wagner private military company, Yevgeny Prigozhin, announced on his Telegram channel that his forces had allegedly come under attack and blamed the military leadership of the Russian Federation for it. The Russian Defense Ministry labeled this information as false. On June 24, Prigozhin began the rebellion.
