According to Prigozhin, the war was necessary for the oligarchs, a "clan that currently controls Russia." These individuals, he claims, think of no one but themselves. The founder of the Wagner Group stated that the oligarchs wanted Viktor Medvedchuk to become the President of Ukraine, and he had returned to Kyiv specifically for this purpose.

Prigozhin mentioned that assets in the territories occupied by Russian forces are being divided. "Our holy war has turned into protection racketeering, it has become a form of rat-keeping," he added.

Speaking about the situation on the front lines, Prigozhin emphasized that the defense ministry continues to spread the "deepest lies," and the truth will only be revealed when "this group of scoundrels understands that they have wasted vast territory and will gather to say they have regrouped in more advantageous positions," as has already happened in Kherson and Lyman, from where Russian troops retreated. Meanwhile, he pointed out that Russian soldiers continue to die and suffer severe injuries.
