Turkish Baykar Company Receives Permission for UAV Production in Ukraine

The Turkish company Baykar has received permission to produce unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in Ukraine. The company’s CEO Haluk Bayraktar announced that the authorization granted by the Turkish government covers the production of two types of combat drones: the Bayraktar TB2 and the Bayraktar Akinci. The latter is the most advanced product of the Turkish defense industry.
The company expects to open its own factory in Ukraine by 2025, planning to invest approximately $95.5 million.
