Rockfall in Mkhchyan Village: 8 Boulders Damage Building Roof and GAZel Vehicle

A rockfall occurred in the village of Mkhchyan in the Tavush region. This was reported by the National Emergency Service.

Yesterday, June 22, at 22:58, the crisis management center of the Tavush regional rescue service received information that a rockfall had occurred near one of the houses on 9th Street in Mkhchyan village.

It was found that 8 boulders fell from a nearby rock, damaging the roof of an outbuilding and a retaining wall partially, the fender of a parked GAZel vehicle, and a wooden structure (approximately 4 square meters). Fortunately, there were no casualties.

Rescuers have cordoned off the area.
