Suspect in Murder Discovered: Body Found in the Area of Mezavan Cemetery

On June 21, based on operational data received by the Criminal Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, the horrific murder that took place on June 19 in the Armavir region has been solved. This was reported by Shamshyan.com.

According to the site, on June 19, the relatives of 42-year-old N.N., a resident of Yerevan, approached the Kotayk division of the police, informing them that he left home with his car and has not been heard from since.

It is noted that while the police in Abovyan were trying to clarify the circumstances of the case, the main department of criminal police received operational data that N.N. had met with 19-year-old G.G., a resident of the Armavir region.

It is known that shortly after he was taken to the police, under pressure of the facts, G.G. confessed to killing N.N. and disposing of his body in the area adjacent to the cemetery of the village of Mezavan in Armavir region. Based on the investigator's decision, G.G. has been arrested.
