“If Artsakh is not negotiating with Baku, it must prepare for the worst-case scenario,” Ioannisyan
The authorities of Artsakh behave like a regional government, stated Daniel Ioannisyan, coordinator of the Institute for Civil Society. In an interview with First News, Ioannisyan emphasized that if Artsakh wants to be independent, it needs to negotiate with everyone.
“If Artsakh is not negotiating with Baku, then it must prepare for the worst-case scenario. The authorities of Artsakh must speak honestly with their people about what solution they envision. They need to understand that they cannot rely on the Russians. No matter how much we love or dislike Prime Minister Pashinyan, he speaks openly with the society,” he added.
