Hungary Urges Against Spending Money Solely on Ukraine
Hungary believes that in addition to military and economic support for Ukraine, the EU should allocate funds to assist the European integration of Balkan countries. This was stated by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán during a meeting with representatives from Bosnia and Herzegovina, as reported by РИА Новости.
“We believe that funding for integration should be provided now, rather than waiting for full membership. The accessibility of development funds should be expanded. Not all the money should be directed solely to Ukraine; investments should also be made in the security and development of the Balkans,” the politician urged.
According to the Hungarian Prime Minister, new EU members from the Balkans could bring “dynamics” to European association.
