Dispute and Brawl in Nalbandyan Village: 20-Year-Old Hospitalized with Serious Injuries

On June 20, at 5:15 PM, the police department of Armavir received a report from the hospital that a 20-year-old man had been admitted with a penetrating stab wound to the chest. He claimed that he had fallen from a tree. This was reported by the Police of the Republic of Armenia.

“As a result of operational-investigative measures taken by Armavir police, it has been determined that the young man who was hospitalized had a dispute around 3:30 PM in Nalbandyan village with three other young men from his village. The argument escalated into a brawl, during which the peer inflicted stab wounds with a cutting-piercing tool, causing serious bodily harm to him. A 21-year-old has been arrested and presented to the Armavir regional investigative department, where he admitted to having inflicted stab wounds on the hospitalized villager using a sharp-cutting-piercing tool. An investigation is underway. The circumstances are being clarified,” the statement noted.
