“You Came and Defiled, Disgraced Death”: Naira Zohrabyan Addresses ‘Baben of the Paul's Neighbour’
“You came and defiled, disgraced death” - this statement was made by former MP Naira Zohrabyan in her remarks directed at ‘Baben of the Paul's neighbour’.
“Baben, even the Vikings respected the death of their enemies and solemnly lowered their swords upon the slain foe. You came and, in the 21st century, disrespected all the cosmic written and unwritten laws; you came and defiled love, friendship, and camaraderie. You came and defiled, disgraced death. You, who in a mad frenzy were carrying coffins to the doorsteps of your political opponents, what were you thinking at that time, Baben of the Paul's neighbour? And when you were tying black ribbons in the yards of your political rivals while their children and mothers looked on, what were you thinking, Baben of the Paul's neighbour? When your frenzied mob was dancing at the staged funerals of your political opponents in a euphoric ecstasy, what were you thinking, Baben of the Paul's neighbour? When you shared the phone numbers and home addresses of your political opponents' women and daughters with your drug-fueled revolutionary activists, and those women were fleeing their homes in ambulances to save themselves from your gas-pumped 'intellectual' mob, what were you thinking, Baben of the Paul's neighbour? No, you weren't thinking; you were carrying a coffin, even if you personally did not lay one down.
And have you thought about what your mother, your wife would feel if they stepped out and saw the black ribbon saying 'Baben-43' hanging on the street? Have you given a thought, Baben, what you would feel if they sent a gasoline-soaked person to your mother's and your wife's house?
Do you remember, Baben of the Paul's neighbour, what you did to me during the Yerevan mayoral elections? I wouldn’t wish the hell you forced me to go through upon my worst enemy, and when one of your 'revolutionary' beasts called my daughter and said, 'come take your mother’s body from the morgue,' you haven’t forgotten, right, Baben of the Paul's neighbour? Do you recall that day in the courtroom when Armen Grigoryan died before my eyes, while his mother still sat dazed on the courthouse steps, and the nationwide farce you orchestrated, how you trampled, crushed, disrespected, and defiled the death of a human being, and one of your velvet and love laureates even wrote, 'he wasn't dead'?
Do you remember, Baben of the Paul's neighbour, how you fed the body of Karmen Davtyan, who died of a severe illness? You consumed it piece by piece, with the ghastly mouth of inhumane revelry. Baben of the Paul's neighbour, what you are receiving now, and regrettably, what you will receive in a much more brutal manner, is merely the boomerang of the hatred, enmity, and disgrace of life and death that you brought upon us.
And the boomerang, Baben of the Paul's neighbour, is the most just thing that exists and will exist. Don’t you believe it, Baben? Ask your neighbor Paul. This woman, who rejoices in death and wishes death upon me and others, is the offspring of the hatred, enmity, and defilement you’ve brought,” Zohrabyan stated.
