Photos: Citizens Involved in Accident in Tsaghkavan Wait Hours for Investigators

Today, an accident occurred in the village of Tsaghkavan in the Tavush region. One of the journalists present in one of the vehicles, Lia Sargsyan, provided details about the events that followed the accident. According to her, some of the injured citizens had to wait for hours for the investigators to arrive.

"The accident you see in the pictures occurred today in Tsaghkavan, Tavush region. I was also in the sprinter, along with 8 other citizens, who were transported to the hospital with various injuries. For 4 hours, the other 9 citizens affected by the accident were forced to stay at the scene until the so-called investigators arrived. Gohar Abrahamyan, please convey to Argishti Kyaramyan, my friend, that there is total chaos and lawlessness in the organization he leads. The investigator who was supposed to come was called about 5 times and did not come out of the room. The incident occurred around 14:00, and 20 minutes later, the first to arrive were the patrol officers from Ijevan, followed by the ambulance and then the rescuers. I would like to thank the patrol officers led by Artak Ohanyan from the Ijevan detachment and the rescuers. The ambulance doctors did not have water, perhaps that's all I can say about them. The Investigative Committee of Armenia, are you even aware of what is happening in your regional departments? Citizens affected by the accident waited for 4 hours in the rain until the Ijevan investigators graciously arrived. The patrol officers had to take care of the investigators' duties as they took down the injured parties' information and sent some of them home."
