‘Extremely Irresponsible’: China's Foreign Ministry Responds to Biden's Statement
The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs has filed a complaint with Washington after U.S. President Joe Biden referred to Chinese leader Xi Jinping as a "dictator." This was announced by the official representative of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mao Ning, as reported by MK.
This statement has been labeled as "extremely irresponsible" by Beijing, characterizing it as a serious violation of diplomatic etiquette.
Earlier, it was reported that U.S. President Joe Biden, during a political fundraiser in California on Tuesday evening, called Chinese President Xi Jinping a "dictator," just a day after U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated that his recent visit had made "progress" in restoring relations between Washington and Beijing.
