18 Trees Burned in Fire at Yerevan Botanical Garden

A fire broke out at the Yerevan Botanical Garden, resulting in the burning of 18 trees. This information was reported by the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs' Emergency Situations Department.

The call regarding the incident was made on June 20 at 17:15.

"Two fire-fighting units and an operational group from the National Center for Crisis Management were dispatched to the scene. A total of 600 square meters of vegetation was burned, including 18 trees, 12 of which were partially burned," the report stated.

The fire was contained by 17:40 and extinguished by 18:50.
