VIDEO: Flooding in Azerbaijan Due to Heavy Rain and Hail

Flooding has occurred in the streets of Azerbaijan due to heavy rains and hail. According to Azerbaijani media, the highest precipitation on June 18 was recorded in Aghdam, specifically in the villages of Chemenli, Zangishali, Makhrizli, Uchoghlan, Afatli, Baharli 1, and Baharli 2.

Many vehicles belonging to local residents were damaged as a result of the torrential rains and mudslides. The village administration reported that all 744 homes in Chemenli sustained various degrees of damage.

Additionally, the mudslides have flooded agricultural lands, particularly those planted with cotton.
