Video: A Citizen Takes Hostages in a Bank, Demands Fulfillment of Requests in 3 Hours in Kazakhstan
The press service of the Kazakhstan police reported that an armed man has taken several people hostage in a bank branch located in the capital of Kazakhstan.
This information was shared by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan on their Telegram channel.
It is noted that the man has locked himself in the building of the Caspian Bank on Dostik Street with visitors.
“According to preliminary data, the man is armed. Police officers are on the scene. Negotiations are ongoing with the man,” said the press service.
The man is demanding that all the assets of the organization be transferred to a fund for children with disabilities, the poor, and those in need, according to local media.
He has given a 3-hour deadline for his demands to be fulfilled. Otherwise, he threatens to kill the hostages, which include 7 girls and 1 security guard.
Special forces have already arrived near the bank building.
