No Agreements on Nuclear Program Between the U.S. and Iran, Says Blinken
No agreements exist regarding the nuclear program between the United States and Iran. This was stated by U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken at a press conference held in Singapore.
“We are committed to ensuring that Iran never acquires nuclear weapons; the best way to prevent that is through diplomacy, but we are not ruling out any options,” said the Secretary of State.
At the same time, he emphasized that he would gladly talk about reaching agreements, but “they do not exist.”
“We continue to work actively on this on a regular basis; this is a separate track from any discussions in the nuclear domain,” added Blinken.
