VIDEO: Why the New Lada Aura Did Not Start Moving at First Attempt

On June 16, during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2023), the new car based on the Vesta model, Lada Aura, was tested by Russia's Finance Minister Anton Siluanov and Sberbank's head German Gref but failed to start moving on the first attempt. The press service of AvtoVAZ provided 'Izvestia' with details regarding the incident.

The issue was with the lock mechanism, which activates if the driver does not start the engine within 45 seconds after pressing the 'open' button on the key. Consequently, when Anton Siluanov got back behind the wheel, he was able to successfully start the car.
