Despite My Health Condition, I Intend to Actively Participate in Georgia's Political Affairs: Saakashvili
The former President of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, has announced his intention to actively participate in the political affairs of Georgia. This information comes from his Facebook post.
As Saakashvili wrote, the recent statements made during a session of the Supreme Council of Adjara became a 'last straw' for him.
‘The parade of traitors that I witnessed yesterday in the Supreme Council of Adjara was the last straw. The treason against Georgia and the attempt at Russification have penetrated all levels. Despite my health condition, I intend to engage very actively in Georgian politics alongside my activities in Ukraine… Starting today, I plan to participate in all the ‘trials’ I can physically attend. Also, as always, I call for unity among all national, anti-Russian forces in Europe, including, first and foremost, the 'National Movement' party that I founded,’ the statement of Saakashvili reads.
