Unprecedented Drought Covers the US and Europe: What's Next
The western part of the Mediterranean Sea will be significantly impacted by direct sunlight this season, according to the Copernicus Observatory.
As reported by Kp.ru, the published report indicates that from May of the previous year, temperatures have been recorded as 2.5 to 4 degrees higher than average in northern Morocco, Algeria, southern Spain, southern France, and northern Italy. Furthermore, the recent weather conditions this spring have been worse than in 2022.
Today, Spain is suffering from a lack of water, particularly Andalusia, where reservoirs are only 25% full.
High temperatures have also been observed in much of Central America. As a result, experts in the US are predicting a rise in food prices. Thus, Florida's orange harvest this year could decrease by 56% compared to 2022, while Georgia's peach harvest might fall by 90%. It is possible that US factories might have to purchase grain from Eastern Europe.
