Farmers in Armenia Complain About Apricot Purchase Prices: Kherobian

Farmers in Armenia are already complaining about the purchase prices of apricots. This was announced today, June 14, during the government hour in the National Assembly by Minister of Economy Vahan Kherobian while responding to questions from deputies.

He drew attention to the fact that other countries are providing significant subsidies. "For example, Uzbekistan subsidizes the logistics costs of apricot exports," noted the minister.

According to the Minister of Economy, it is necessary to quickly analyze the situation in the Armenian market and in export markets. "We need to find a quick solution and try to ensure proper purchasing of farmers' harvests," said Kherobian.
