Azerbaijan's Attacks on Armenia Threaten Peace Negotiations: Pallone
Azerbaijan endangers ongoing peace negotiations and creates risks for further destabilization in the Caucasus through its attacks on Armenian territories. This was stated by Frank Pallone, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, on his Twitter microblog.
“By attacking Armenian territory, Azerbaijan is jeopardizing the ongoing peace negotiations and creating risks for further destabilization in the Caucasus. The State Department must work to halt this reckless aggression and insist on the recognition and respect of Armenia’s borders,” wrote Pallone.
It is noteworthy that today, on June 15, at 11:45 a.m., Azerbaijani Armed Forces units opened fire on Armenian positions located in the Tekh area, also using mortars.
