Video: "The CP brings evil, we must survive until we free ourselves from you" - Mamijanyan
"I said and I repeat - the CP brings evil, I completely qualified the professionals on whom the operation of state institutions continues. I have said that aside from bringing evil, it is very difficult for your government to bring anything else. We must survive until we free ourselves from you," said Hayk Mamijanyan, a member of the "Honorary Right" faction, addressing the CP member Babken Tunyan during a session of the National Assembly.
It should be noted that the opposition factions have nominated Anahit Sargsyan as the agreed candidate for the position of member of the Competition Protection Commission.
"The laws that your government is going to implement will have very negative consequences; even the most benign laws are implemented with such disgraceful omissions that sometimes abstaining from voting is the only option," added Hayk Mamijanyan.
"In some cases, we try to find something good so that the country can at least survive until we free ourselves from you," he said.
In response to Mamijanyan, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Ruben Rubinyan said, "Mr. Mamijanyan, let me ask a follow-up question, it's just interesting. When you told Mr. Tunyan that you are not interested, presumably, in how the CP will vote, you know, right, that the candidate will be elected if the CP votes in favor, and they will not be elected if they do not vote. Therefore, my question is: Are you interested in whether your nominated candidate will be elected or not? From what you said, it follows that you are not interested," Rubinyan noted.
Mamijanyan emphasized that it would be beneficial for the institution for candidate Anahit Sargsyan to work under the Competition Protection Commission of the Republic of Armenia.
