“The war in Ukraine against Russia is one of the greatest challenges of our time for the U.S.,” said Joe Biden during a speech with leaders of American diplomatic missions.

He emphasized the importance of helping Ukraine defend itself against Russian aggression: “If we don’t, imagine what will happen. Think about that,” urged the White House leader to the diplomats.

Among other major challenges facing the U.S., Biden highlighted competition with China, climate change, and the necessity to prepare for potential new pandemics.
