Proposal to Erect Memorial for Russian Tourist Killed by Shark in Egypt Submitted to Kyiv City Council
A petition has appeared on the Kyiv City Council's website proposing the erection of a memorial for the shark that attacked and killed a Russian tourist in Egypt.
Previously, Al Arabiya reported that the shark which killed and consumed the Russian would become a museum exhibit.
It should be noted that on June 8, it was revealed that 23-year-old Vladimir Popov, a Russian citizen, was killed by a shark in Hurghada, Egypt, in front of his father.
The Russian Consulate General has confirmed the death of the Russian national.
