Erdogan: 'The Issue of the Zangezur Corridor Does Not Arise from Armenia, but from Iran'
During his return from Azerbaijan, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan addressed journalists and touched upon various issues, including Armenian-Azerbaijani and Armenian-Turkish relations.
Commenting on the topic of the Zangezur corridor, the President of Turkey stated that the problem does not originate from Armenia, but rather from Iran: 'Two countries, Iran and Azerbaijan, whose majority population is Muslim. Tehran's stance is concerning for both Baku and Ankara. In fact, the situation should also worry Iran,' Erdogan announced.
'With a positive approach to regional communications, it is possible to establish a unified railway and road network between Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Iran, and it may also be possible to open the Beijing-London route,' Erdogan did not rule out.
