Watch: Make Earrings for Your Ears, Armenian Citizens Are Not Stupid – Vahagn Aleksanyan to Opposition

Dear citizens, we are once again being presented with something as a possible reality. This was stated by MP Vahagn Aleksanyan during a statement hour in the National Assembly. His remarks were aimed at the statements made by the opposition.

“One faction leader comes here and says, ‘Look where we’ve come with self-determination,’ which self-determination are you referring to? The one negotiated by your political leader in 1999, which implied that Artsakh should remain part of Azerbaijan? It was discussed that Armenians from Azerbaijan should have Azerbaijani passports with a special note indicating Nagorno-Karabakh. Can they at least have dual citizenship and also obtain Armenian citizenship, or is that not possible, is that self-determination? If you did not recognize Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity, then how come you went to the President of Azerbaijan and said, ‘I’ll give you Meghri, give me Artsakh’?” he posed the question.

According to Vahagn Aleksanyan, the people remember all this and are waiting for answers to these questions from the opposition. The ruling MP also addressed the opposition: “Make earrings for your ears, the people of Armenia, the citizen is not stupid, do not treat the citizen as if he were stupid.
