Law Enforcement Pursues Former Director of Hospital: 'Zhoghovurd'

'Zhoghovurd' newspaper reports that the law enforcement system has turned its attention to Aram Asatryan, the former head of the Central Military Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, popularly known as Muratzan Hospital, as well as Daniel Mkrtchyan, the current head of the military hospital in Sisian.

Both are facing charges for misappropriating diesel fuel, causing damages amounting to approximately 25 million drams to the state. According to information from 'Zhoghovurd,' even a search was conducted at the residence of the service head Vahan Oseyan, including the bathroom and chicken coop.

Aram Asatryan's lawyer, Varduhi Elbakyan, informed 'Zhoghovurd' that this is an absurd criminal case, which is currently in the Anti-Corruption Court. 'First, I should note that this concerns the misappropriation of about 20 million drams, and you can come to court yourself and see how individuals who have saved lives are being accused of stealing diesel fuel,' said the lawyer in an interview with 'Zhoghovurd.'
