176,000 Tourists Visited Armenia in May

The Minister of Economy of Armenia reports that tourism visits to the country significantly increased in May 2023.

During May 2023, 176,000 tourists arrived in Armenia. This is the best indicator compared to previous years (146,000 in 2019 and 116,000 in 2022).

In the January-May 2023 period, the main countries contributing to the increase in tourism visits to Armenia were Russia (around 52%), Georgia (12%), and Iran (6%).
