Vladimir Meerson, Co-Creator of 'Good Night, Children' Show, Passes Away
Vladimir Meerson, a prominent figure in Soviet television, has passed away at the age of 97. He was a director and writer and one of the creators of the famous children's program 'Good Night, Children.' According to Говорит Москва, Meerson's health deteriorated significantly last week, leading to his death in his apartment in northern Moscow, just three days before his birthday.
Along with his wife, director Nina Zubarева, Meerson created the legendary program 'Good Night, Children,' which first aired on September 1, 1964. Its characters, Khryusha and Stepashka, have become icons of modern Russian culture.
